Our sweet Lightning Readers came in 3rd place in our district tonight! (Out of 6, for those who are wondering.) I think they are the only third graders in this round, so that makes their place even sweeter. It was much more intimidating than the battles in their school library, that's for sure! (It was held in the high school auditorium . . . on stage!

We have one more round on Saturday. I hear there are going to be SIXTY TEAMS THERE. Oh my word!
