Birthday Happenings: Part 2

You know, there was just so much birthday goodness and cuteness surrounding Garrett, that I have to do one more post.

His actual birthday was Monday.

He actually said, "Thanks for the clothes, Mama, I love them."  We've come a long way!

That is supposed to be a "7" shaped pancake.  Oh well, there were chocolate chips in it, and strawberries and whipped cream on the side, so he was happy!

Lots of Lego Building in the afternoon.

Birthday dinner was a McD.onalds picnic on the living room floor.

This was the first year that Garrett could read all of his cards!  He was pretty proud of himself.  Sissy was still perched nearby, just in case he needed some help!

Lion King tickets from Nana Pam!

Photobucket
Star War Legos from Sissy and Carter.  They were as excited as he was!

And then, a scavenger hunt for the last present.  Again, G could read and figure out all the clues!

He was happy with his new bike, I think, although it was cool and windy out, so he didn't ride it. He grinned, checked it out for about 30 seconds, and said, "Can we go inside now?"

Happy birthday, G. I love that you share the day with many in our family. Also, we're going to Lion King too. Maybe we'll see you there!

Where did you find that awesome minifig shirt? Peter would kill for one!
