Happy Birthday to Joel

My sweet husband had a birthday earlier this week.  We celebrated with some of his family in Portland on Sunday, and then a very small celebration at home on his actual birthday.

At home:

So many candles!  Really warm up a room!

Carter was QUITE proud of his card for Daddy.  He even wrote "Dad" on it.  His first written word!

The boys couldn't find tape, so they used stickers!

Laughing over the recycled card I gave Joel.  The front said, "For A Very Special Boy."  (Moment of truth- I totally forgot to get him a card!)
