The Best Things About Christmas

Weren't things at all.

The best things about Christmas were:

Reading with Daddy the night before,

Waiting on the stairs, a yearly tradition,

Happy, surprised kids,

 Watching Christmas through new eyes, and getting to share our girl with our family,

Siblings being excited for each other,

pretty much everything related to this girl,

Inseparable sisters,

Siblings putting their heads together,

Siblings giving the perfect gift, made with all the love imaginable,

Snuggling with Nana,

Our fun, fun, family,

Couch tricks in Christmas pjs,

 

Crazy drivers,

sleepy, worn out girls,

 and post-present projects that last for hours.
